Pilates focusses on fitness, strength and flexibility. It includes resistance training, body conditioning as well as sports-specific training in order to create more effective body awareness and optimise muscle efficiency.

Yoga has been proven to increase flexibility as well as improve muscle strength and tone. With Yoga you will experience improved respiration, energy and vitality. There is an added benefit of also maintaining a balanced metabolism and improved athletic performance.

Boxing teaches you strength, speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, endurance, nerve and power. If your aim is to get into great shape while improving your cardiovascular health then boxing is for you.

KRAV MAGA CLASSES

From the basics of fundamental self-defence for beginners, through to advanced combative skills and the tactical use of weapons, we can equip anyone at any level. In addition to learning how to defend yourself physically, you’ll also learn how to increase your awareness, read body language and avoid potential danger.

We have created a combination of a team atmoshpere, and intense cadiovascular workouts and fitness education during our bootcamp sessions. This has proven to be very effective for weight loss, endurance and improving overall coordination and balance.

My journey with yoga started fifteen years ago. I was drawn to the physical use of the body as a form of expression and creativity, and bringing the mind, body and soul together. After my very first class, I felt like I had finally found “home”. I completed my two year instructor’s training course, and have instructed students of all ages, sizes and abilities. Yoga requires only your body, mind and the force of gravity. Aside from the obvious physical benefits like flexibility and strength tailored and designed by your own body’s ability, weight and structure, it is a panacea for relieving stress and for teaching the body and mental pathways to heal themselves. Yoga is about a journey of self discovery, and it will deliver balance to whichever part of you needs it the most. I look forward to taking this journey together with you.

Pilates is the foundation that I believe builds our bodies towards achieving overall health and strength. I have been able to successfully utilise Pilates to help my clients correct or prevent injuries. Pilates builds a strong core to support intensive training, to correct posture and build lean strong muscles. My clients have been able to develop a positive self-confidence and above all relax and destress.

Pilates has allowed me personally to recover from two pregnancies and restore my body to its strong and lean state and along the way has given me a passion for helping others who are in pain or wanting to feel better in their own skin.

I am a competitive boxer and trainer who aspires to reach a world class level. I am driven by my absolute passion for the skill, technique and art of boxing. From my background in boxing, I have witnessed how boxing can help improve self-esteem, build character and most importantly instill discipline. I have trained bullies and victims of bullying and both have learned how to fight without initiating confrontations. I aim to teach individuals how to above all else have self-respect and respect for others.

Being physically fit is an added advantage of boxing and leads to a healthier way of life. I strive to condition all of my clients at the same level of professional athletes by incorporating skipping, bag work, pad work, cardio and one-on-one sparring.

Finally, boxing is not just about walking into a gym and throwing a few punches, there is an art to it. Training with me you will learn footwork, head movements, bobbing and weaving, defense, accuracy and gain a new-found confidence in yourself.
